We were told this place would have great food, live music, and a great selection of beer. We were showing our moms around Ireland and this place is still one of our favorite memories. We stayed for hours! We recommend showing up early and staying late. Drinking local beers and eating comfort food. The staff were very fast and incredibly polite, especially impressive as it was quite busy that Friday night. We'll definitely be back, next time we're in the country.

In 2020, having no meat & dairy free option on the mains, sandwiches or specials is basically discrimination. The tartlet and quiche on the healthy section of the menu included eggs/dairy, so weren't ideal. The place is nice but felt rushed as 3 different staff members all came to take our order without communicating first. We felt like we had to be in and out rapid. In fairness, the location and building are superb but you would expect much more choice these days.

Excellent place for a few drinks and the staff are amazing and so friendly! Music is brilliant! Worth a visit when you're in kilkenny ❤
